ISV products versions list

We have more than 30 ISV products. I would like to be able to click a button and get the list of every product and it's version ( build number) including Dynamics GP products. Pls advise.

    There is a table in SQL that tracks this. Its eithre DB_UPDATE or DB_UPGRADE.

    You cold run a select statement in SQL to show this...or if you had smartlist builder you could maybe create a custom smartlist?

    Alternatively,

    You can download the FREE app from RocktonSoftware called VersionPro.  It's part of the Dynamics Toolkit and will present a screen that will tell you each app and build of everything installed at that workstation.

    As nice as the offered options are, they only will show what's installed.. and Rockton is not a free product, though it will produce a nice reports with the product name. The DB_Upgrade table will also only show a PRODID #... but not what it is..

    I'v been looking for an updated ISV product list with all the existing PRODID #'s and the Vendor / ISV name + Product desription (or short name)...

    I wasn't able to find one so far.. There has been a link a few years back, but it points to a document that doesn't exist anymore (besides that it was on Partner Source only).

    The VersionPro module is definitely a free module. All of the tools in the toolkit are not free, but VersioinPro is free.

    Can you provide me with a link ? I've been checking all around the Rockton web site.. but Version Pro is not a product that you can download for itself.. it's part of the GP Toolbox and though you can have a 30-days free trial, the product is not free as per say..

    Beat,

    You have to install the whole GP Toolbox, VersionPro does not have its own cnk file. You can use the VersionPro tool without purchasing any of the other tools. You can get reg keys from Rockton that permit you to use the VersionPro tool.
