Retained Earnings Category Not Set to 27

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

While browsing for some GP info I came across this as an overlooked problem in GP.  That GP expects RE to be category 27. So what’s the deal with this?  Must RE be a separate category and must be set to 27?

I have came across such an article published by GPUG. I have never had any problem with re-creating all the account categories with Management Reporter.

I do believe that changing any of the categories would cause a critical issue with the Advanced Financial specifically.
