Is there a way to have dashboards be editable....meaning to just click on the view in the dashboard and edit it without having to go into the record?  I can do it via subgrid in a form.

Thank you.

    Hi partner,

    Yes, views can be editable.

However, the dashboard cannot be edited directly, so we have to click on the view icon and edit the view in the pop-up window. It also meets your needs.

The following are the detailed steps.

    1) Go to SettingsCustomizationsCustomize the System.

    2) In the solution explorer, under Components, expand Entities, and then find the entity of the view. Click the entity and click the Control tab, then click Add control.

    3) Select Editable Grid, Add. Choose which devices you need to make the view editable. Save and publish.

    4) Go to the dashboard, click the view icon to the right of the + sign, a popup appears, it shows the view records and it is editable. Since it is a pop-up window, you can still see the data in the dashboard.

Please refer to this document for details on Editable Grid:
