How to use Main Account and Dimension translations

Our D365 system is in English, and I want the Main Accounts and Dimension names to show up in Danish when a person is logged into the system in DA. I see how to enter the translation on the Main Accounts and Dimensions, but when I log into the system in DA, I still see the English names. How can I get it to display the translated names? Where do those translated names show up? I don't understand how to use them after they are entered.

Hi,

You can use the translations on COA and dimensions for that purpose.

Thank you for your replies. I understand how to setup the translations in the Main Acct and Dimensions. My question is, where do those translations actually show up (where are they used)? I setup translated descriptions in DA (from EN) and thought if I logged into the system in DA, then I would see the translated descriptions of the Main Account and Dimensions...but they still show up in EN. Do those translations only show up on specific reports or something?

Hi,

On Trial balance you should be able to see the translations.

Hi ,

It should show up on TB and ledger reports but also just make sure your user language also is setup
