Error Posting Product Receipt

Dear All,

I want to report some issue again,

my user can't posting product receipt, infolog message such as attached above.

the configuration for that item at product receipt line is A, for example.

but at the registration the configuration is default.

how to correct this issue ?

    Remove the registration and register the actual configuration you want to receive

    Hi Steven,

    the registration already removed.

    when register, my user usually tick auto create.

    how to change the configuration at registration form. the combobox field for configuration at registration header and registration detail is disabled.

    The error message says that the Configuration inventory dimension cannot be changed at Registration, because it's a Product dimension (as opposed to a Storage or Tracking dimension).

    Have you tried changing the Configuration on the Purchase order line itself?

    Hi Brandon,

    the correct configuration is A, at product receipt line its already stated A,

    at purchase order line, the configuration is already stated A too.

    only at registration form ( update line, reservation at product receipt form ) the configuration is default, the combobox is disabled,

    could you advice, how to change the configuration from default to A at registration form.

    do I need to update at some form ?

    do I need to change the configuration to default and change back again to VAR1 to trigger so its reflected at reservation form ?

    Can you look at the transaction of the purchase line (not the purchase line but the inventory transaction from it) and check the product dimension? Is there a relation from this PO to any other document driving the dimension (and reservation)? The registration should come from the purchase line what is defined there, but that should also be the underlying transaction.

    What is the configuration technology defined for the item?

    the issue has been solved by amend the PO lines, its triggered the changes reflected at other area/table.

    sorry to raise this issue again,

    we facing the same issue again, but when we had amend the po lines to trigger the changes, and do approval po again.

    once final approved the changes not reflected.

    could you advice again for another solution

    I found at inventtransoriginal , the inventdimid different from inventdimid at poline and inventtrans.

    may I update directly ?

    I would query why they are not the same, and how you are intending to update it.

    I would also check why your approval of the changes is not working.

    Get the data correct upstream for it to work, solve the issue itself, rather than "correcting" something to get it through.

    yes, I wonder why its different,

    i'm planning update all data for all table with prefix Invent* for those po and item only.

    yes, something strange why approval system doesn't reflected the changes once its approved.

    alrighty steven, will check more for detail root-cause.
