
Hi:
This morning, I have read here online three different ways that you can give a Business Central profile to a user. None of those three methods work. I'm logged in as an Administrator, and either what I'm being "told" is outdated or perhaps been "moved".
Below are the three methods of which I speak. Has this procedure recently changed? What is the procedure?

(1) You can assign a profile to a user group which is used to distribute permission sets.
(2) There is a user personalization page where you can assign a particular profile to a user.
(3) Search for “profiles”, select the profile that you want to assign, and then choose the User Personalization List action. On the User Personalizations page, select the user that you want to assign the profile to, and choose the Edit action.

I am in BC 19.2 and I just tested the following method and worked
Search for User Settings then select and Edit the user and you can change the Role.
