365 new users Not Showing up in D365 enabled users view

I am new to Dynamics 365. I created a D365 portal by register in https://trials.dynamics.com/

In Microsoft 365 admin center -> Active users.  I am the only user listed. So I create another user for test.

After 2 hours, I visit D365 Settings > Security > Accounts. By default the view is Omnichannel Users (why it is the default one? What is Omnichannel means?). I switched to "Enabled Users" view. I can find my name as well as many Sample users. However the test user I created 2 hours ago is not exist.

Since the environment is created by me I believe I am System Admin. I have double checked my name is in the "System Administrator" and "System Customizer" roles. So why I cannot find my test user?

Thanks for your advice.

Where did you create the user?  In the O365 Admin site that is tied to that trial tenant?  In the Power Platform Admin Center for that trial tenant?  Did you assign a license in the O365 Admin Center?  Did you add that user to the correct group in O365 Admin?

Where did you create the user?

    >> I created user in "Microsoft 365 admin center -> Active users"

In the O365 Admin site that is tied to that trial tenant?  In the Power Platform Admin Center for that trial tenant?

    >> Yes, it is my trial tenant and the only tenant

Did you assign a license in the O365 Admin Center?

    >> Yes, I assigned every license starting with "Dynamics" to the test user

Did you add that user to the correct group in O365 Admin?

    >> No, which group I should add it? I didn't create any group or change any permission since I started the trial.

OK, the group is the issue then.  Check the other demo user's records in the O365 admin center and assign the same group.

In O365 admin center I can only see my test user (the one that not show up in dynamics) and myself (admin user).

I cannot see any other users in O365 admin center.

The sample users were imported from dynamics 365.  All the sample users have a bracket "(sample user)" after their name. But none of them are listed in O365 admin center.

Well.  That's....interesting.  OK, there's a 2nd way to find the group.  Go to Power Platform Admin for the trial tenant and select Environments>{demo tenant name} and on the page that comes up you will be able to see the security group assigned as highlighted below:

In my tenant, the "Security Group" is "Not assigned"

So I create a security group "Test Dynamics" and assigned to this tenant.

Then I add my admin user and test user to "Test Dynamics".

Then I go back to dynamics 365 -> settings > Security > Users.

In "All" view there is 0 user (is it normal?)

In "Enabled Users" there are many Sample data users. Same as before, I can find my admin user, I cannot find my test user.

Looks like my trial Dynamics is working differently....

Sigh..... It is so hard to learn. All document online are outdated.

Well there is definitely a learning curve with D365.  It's a very flexible system and that flexibility necessarily drives some complexity.  And while I wouldn't agree "all" documentation is outdated, there is certainly a noticeable percentage that is.  An outcome of the "speed of cloud", I'm afraid.  Admittedly though, I'm short on ideas as to what else to check.  Nya, any ideas?

Could you confirm me my views are working as expected? Same as other Dynamics setup?

    In dynamics 365 -> settings > Security > Users.

In "All" view there is 0 user.

In "Enabled Users" view there are many Sample data users plus my Admin user.

There is no "all" view out of the box.

I believe I have created my trial environment with MS's sandbox code. Basically all materials I found online do not match with my trial experience.
