Hello experts ,
This is the project requirement how to split active and inactive vendor in start search separately please guide me.
Hi, By default inactive records are excluded from searches. You can change the quick find views to include inactive if required but you have no control over Global Search I don't think.

Paul
Hi Amrutha,
Even though you add filter to fetch 'Inactive' records in Quick find view, it won't segregate/split Active and inactive records. You will see both Active and Inactive records in a list and there is no way to find out which one is active/inactive unless you open the record.
PS: Categorized/Global search return results based on the filter criteria set in Quick find views of a particular entity.

Hello,
As previously mentioned, it is not feasible; however, you can try to add the Status column on the first three columns of the Quick Find View and check if the Status will be shown under the Name of the record.
We can set filter criteria to include/exclude inactive records through Quick Find View.
However, the layout of search result is system default and not open to customization. Currently the result is a single list for each entity and thus can't be separated by statecode.

Abby
