Hi Team,
Is there a way to have the colors added to option set display in a Calendar control view?
While this article says this is possible I can't find the Color in the Calendar control in Dynamics.
https://reenhanced.com/2020/add-color-on-option-set-calendar-control-in-dynamics-365/
below is a screenshot of control and Calendar control fields. There is no Calendar V2 Control either
Thanks in advance for any input.
Regards
Hey Anybody who sees this,
It would appear that the Color option is back. My Calendar Control was the V2 previously that didn't have the option and now it does. I'm not sure when it "came back" as it was on the V1 control.
It doesn't work. I thought it was because I hadn't set a unique color on each option, but I picked a different option, set colors on the 5 options and published all (and refreshed Ctl-F5).
Anybody else playing with it see this? I should note that my calendar control is on a custom entity (non-Activity)
Thanks, Lu,
For your response, the clarification was very helpful.
Kind regards.
Lalas
Hi Lalas,
In fact, the Calendar control you are using is Calendar V2 Control, just change name in now version.
Add the calendar control to tables in model-driven apps - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs
As you can see from the documentation, the Calendar V2 Control configuration is the same as the one you are using:
Sadly, you cannot configure color mapping with V2 like you could with the original. There is an Idea listed to be up-voted:https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Ideas/Ability-to-customize-the-Calendar-Control-v2/idi-p/727541.
The link you provided is using the original calendar control, so you can't follow the tutorial to implement it in your current environment.
Maybe you can try to use the following PCF control:
