Need help with J/E issue

What kind of help do you need?
If I want a distribution reference to appear in the detailed trial balance, I have been instructed to use the drop down arrow to enter the description I want to appear. Even if I copy and paste the verbiage, it can be very tedious to enter into each line for each gl account. Is there an easier way? Can the distribution reference be set to automatically pick up the J/E (GJ) reference? I have a similar question when it comes to processing checks. Thanks.

Hi,
You can absolutely accomplish this using VBA. Each time you enter a new line, the GL reference will automatically copy to the distribution reference field. If this sounds like it will work for you, let me know and I can assist you with completing the VBA portion of the solution.
