Add to another marketing list

Hi gurus,

I have customer on prem CRM2016 who is experiencing a strange behaviour. Whe adding marketing list members to another marketing list the system simply doesn't do anything nor throws any error. I have solved their problem using advanced find and just adding the users, but would like to understand the nature of this problem if you have already experienced it as well.

The scenario:

1. Marketing List A - 70 members

2. Marketing List B - 30 members

3. They have created marketing list C that should contain all elements of A and all elements of B.

All lists are STATIC on CONTACTS.

We opened Marketing List A and used the "Add members to another list" button. It simply doesn't do anything.

Help is apprecciated!

Thanks,

    Hi Sergio

I am experiencing the similar issue , did you found the rout cause ?

I have tried this with the Administrative user as well , and having the same result ,

the only solution which I had to fix the listing , was finding the contacts and adding them to the final list ( by the advanced find or Manually one by one ) , it would be nice if you could share your experience around this ?

I guess your CRM is not the latest version. This was a bug from last version. i would suggest you to upgrade to the latest version and this would be fixed.

I can do the same in my latest version and it works fine.

Hi Prashant, indeed you are right. We had build 8.0.1.79 and needed to deploy the SP1.

    Many thanks!

Hi Archer, see below. Check for your version (options->about). Most likely you don't have SP1 installed, and are on build 8.0.1.79. The SP1 solves many of these small things including copying contacts from one static marketing list to another. :)
