Annotations are not showing up after migration

Hello!

We merged from Dynamics 8.x to 9.x here the other day, and in order to get all the annotations I wrote a simple c# application to go thru all incidents in 8.x, find the one in 9,x environment and add the 8.x incidents annotation to the 9.x one. I copied all the data and set the "objectid" of the annotation to the incident.

But now in 9.x they are not showing up when I open a incident. Is there anything else I need to set? I can use c# again and get 9.x incidents and then look at annotations and it has annotations, but its not showing up.

Looks like you'll also need to update the objecttypecode field in the Notes (annotation) entity.

If so, then see if they're pointing to the right parent records by adding the parent record columns in the Notes section.

It's an OptionSet and you'll need to set the value to the entity that your Notes belong to.
