Hi All,

How can I create components forecast on weekly basis and possibly receive automatic notifications for ordering the components when we have the following parameters known

- Quantity (Pieces) of finished products that we plan to produce every month is known. For example 4000 pieces per month from July to September and 6000 pieces per month from October to December.

- Our finished product is an assembly of 16 different components. So, BOM is defined.

- Delivery time from PO date for all components are known.

- Re-order principle that we are thinking now is to initiate the Purchase order to the supplier when the component level reaches 2 weeks of production inventory. Or we can also define the re-order level with a fixed quantity for each component.

I am trying now "demand forecast" and "requisition worksheet" pages to explore how this can be done but If I can get some ideas here it will help me in faster implementation. Thanks!
