Word document templates in Dynamics 365 for Operations

Is it possible to use Word templates to create a document attachment in D365O, as it was in Dynamics AX 2012?

If anyone could point me to some documentation I'd be very grateful.

You may need Office 2016 or Office 365

(Not sure if will work with 'on-premise' version

Hi Tim,

Not trying to teach anyone to suck eggs here so I apologise if I point anything obvious out but I believe the best way for this in D365O is as follows.

User options make sure the user has document management enabled

Create a new word template in the common module
https://axtechbirchendale.wordpress.com/2017/10/04/d365-operations-word-templates/

Use the export to word (your new template)

Go to your record and add the newly generated document as attachment

I am afraid I have not yet seen an automated way to use a template and save straight into document management without the manual upload step. Happy to be shown wrong though.
