Hello All,

I want to know that, is there is any built-In Child Support Payment NACHA file format available in AX or we have to do a customization from start? If yes, can anyone guide me what is the format name and how to access this format?

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

    Hello M.Nauman Rashid,

Can you explain in more detail what you mean by 'child support'?

I am not familiar with this term in regards to NACHA payment files format.

    Many thanks,

    Ludwig

Thanks man for showing the interest, In US payroll the Child Support benefit is used to deduct the amount from the employee salary and that amount is submitted to state or whatever the vendor is. So for submitting the amount there is a format which is NACHA CCD+ or CTX+. The NACHA file contains an optional record called addenda record (e.g CCD+) which can be use as a Child Support deduction line. As a example kindly see the below image highlighted line

    ach_5F00_childsupport_5F00_addenda_5F00_payment_5F00_related_5F00_information.gif

I want to know that. This functionality is a part of AX file format or we have to customize it? If it is a part of AX then how we can invoke it?

    Thanks,
    Nauman

    Hello Nauman,

I cannot answer this question as I have no idea about those US specific things.

What you can do though is

    (a) open a support case with MS and ask if they provide this specific Nacha file format with all this child support stuff

    (b) get into contact (hire) a local US specialist that can help you with that. An alternative is making use of an ISV solution, such as the one from SK that is to my knowledge heavily used in the US. sksoft.com/.../ Probably contact them and ask if they have an out of the box solution for this issue.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Besides Child Support record, Did you got a chance to work on NACHA file Addenda record (optional record use for contribution / deduction)?

    Hi Rashid ,

To generate NACHAformat there is base class VendOutPaym_NACHA and for different formats classes like VendOutPaymRecord_NACHA_CCD. I added my own addenda record by doing modification as per my requirmeent.  I am not sure though if it supports / adds addenda record  for child  supports.
