MR Drill Down to Dynamics (GP)

My client is in the process of implementing Dynamics GP 2018 R2, and as part of that process they are also implementing Management Reporter. In training we were trying to use the drill down to dynamics feature, but do not see it available. The client is generating an account and transaction level report and it can successfully drill down through the browser and viewer, however it does not seem to have the drill down to GP available.

I saw in a few older posts where this was an issue if MR is configured with the legacy adapter. Is that still the case? The client is on the 2.12.16003.25 release of MR, and due to preferences of the hosting provider MR is using the legacy adapter? Please advise. Look forward to a response.

You should be able to drill back to GP from MR Report Viewer, with the legacy provider. When you get to Account detail level, do you have both a Drill Down and Dynamics button?

With the Web Viewer, you'll get a pop up with 'Drill to report transaction level' and 'Open in Microsoft Dynamics', for the data mart provider only. Legacy will not have this option in the Web Viewer.
