Hi all,
I would Axapta to check if a general journal entry has a backup enclosed (document handling) so that if a general journal entry is submitted for approval in the workflow without a document (as back up), the workflow will send a notification to the users asking them to upload a back an resubmit the general journal entry for approval.

What is your actual question? Your requirement is not supported out of the box. It would require a customization.

What we´d like is Axapta to check in the general ledger workflow is there is a back up attached to the journal and if it´s not the work flow should send a notification to the work flow initiator to ask them for a back up (document) , if there is a document enclosed it should follow the workflow.
Do you know any material that i can use for the customization needed? thanks
I never had this exact requirement myself. You can possibly customize the 'canSubmitToWorkflow' method and add validation logic to check for document attachments.
