Portal - Getting Error Multiple controls with the same ID 'X' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs.

We are displaying a quick view in a Web Step Form and getting the error "

Multiple controls with the same ID 'X' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs."

 

This seems to be happening only in one of the tab. It seems to be working on some other tab on the form.

Any idea?

    This error comes when you have added same field twice on the form.

    Verify that your form doesn't have same fields added twice.

    thanks for the respond

    we have duplicate fields on the form without issue. it's just that one quick view that seems to have a problem on that particular tab.

    I had a similar issue. The problem was that the name of the quick view form was the same as the name of another lookup field on the master form (the form the quick view was added to).
