Reset Status in Production Order

Hi,

I have 2 concerns related to the production order. Please suggest the option in AX.

1. Can we reset the production order if the status is "Ended"? 

2. If the user wrongly selected the wrong options in production order and ended the order. After the order ended, we want to reverse all the transactions, make the status "Created"  and do the correction. or how we can reverse all the transactions if the order is ended.

    Hi Toqueer,

    1. No, it is not possible to reset the production order if it is Ended.

    2. you will probably need to post adjustment journals to return the quantities back to stock.

    Thanks for the reply,

    What about the operation cost which we added to the production order?

    Can we use the negative quantity in the production order to add all the same activities to reverse all the transaction.

    I am unsure if that is possible. I am not fully aware of your scenario so it's difficult to advise.
