    Hello Haroon,

Make sure the Client version matches the AOS version. Maybe your client installer has an older Kernel or CU Version.

    Hi Boris

I checked client version and it is showing exactly the same version which is for AOS i.e. 6.3.2000.326. There was a difference between kernelbase.dll file on AOS and client but not any more after running windows update.

To check version for client and server I used this article www.bhsolutions.com/.../how-to-check-dynamics-ax-2012-version-numbers-applied-hotfixes.

Will appreciate more help from you or any other.

    Thanks

    Haroon

    Hi Haroon,

I have encountered a similar error.

Is this during a compile or on start-up?

I had a similar problem while compiling, when i checked the compile logs ,which normally are located in C:\Users\%User%\Microsoft\Dynamics Ax\Log . You can check this setting in the compiler setup dialog.

There I saw that the compiler stopped after some managed content objects.

Then i tried to compile the web node in my AOT and it crashed every time.

Then I uninstalled some sharepoint components and it was able to compile.

    I hope this helps you

    Kind regards,

    Jeffrey

It’s nearly very hard to tell exact reason of crash, by just having a look at event viewer message (unless message is self-explanatory).

May I suggest you to collect crash dump from AOS and send it to Microsoft for Crash and Hang analysis. They would be able to tell you exact failure point and any suggestions to overcome this. You can also work with crash dump file, if you know how to use WinDBG

Disconnection of LCS diagnosis tool makes you do this effort a bit more.

    Hi Attari,

The error showing you have different versions in Kernel and Client. But I couldn't understand how it was fixed after windows update.

assuming that you have issue with only one Client  ,For the safe side remove client , Client Folders and User cache completely and then reinstall with patches hot-fixes according to your environment.Hope fully it will fix the issue.

    Thanks & Regards,

I installed DebugDiag tool and was able to generate the dump file. When I opened the .dmp file in Analysis Tool it is showing following information. Will be grateful if anyone can suggest any solution to this problem. Will be very grateful.

    Thanks
