We have a temporary site where we receive return items before inspection. After receiving we do the inspection and adjust the inventory based on the status of item(Damaged,reusable etc). Is there a way to hide this site from item inquiry window so that sales users wouldn't get confused of the availability of inventory ?

No out of the box solution is provided by Dynamics GP. You may need to look for third party product which can apply a data level security. The main concept is that master entities within look up windows (Site, Item, Vendor ... etc) will have their level security. For instance, Site A is accessed only by Users A, B, C ... etc. Site B is accessed by Users A, B and D.
