Hello,

following situation I added a product bundle with two optional products to my quote.

I go into the quote product formular from the inline editing grid. after that I go back to the quote form.

Now when I click on the editable grid on the product I get a grid error:

the error message says: "the attribute of  "shipto_line1" of an empty or a null pointer can not be gotten....

Yours must be a different issue, then.

For my case, the display name is totally blank (not even file path) and the web resource content is empty too. (for your case, You cannot scroll down the script file just because the file is a managed solution component which does not allow editing)

Since it is the out-of-the-box script file, just raise a ticket with Microsoft to see how you are supposed to fix that script error.

this is a foto of the property window.. in both forms I have the same library. However there isnt a display name. the display name is the path again..

    Is this what you mean?

That's correct. Open the forms that you are getting the script error, double click and open the libraries and make sure all of them are valid. In my case, the broken ones does not have the Display Name and when I double click to open, the content is empty.

    To fix the issue.

    • Add the correct library
    • Update the Event Handler with the correct library and the correct function name
    • Remove the broken web resource from the Form Libraries.

You can raise a support ticket with Microsoft to get the correct library and the correct function name, but that may take a few days to get it sorted. The quickest way is to get the trial instance of D365 with the same apps as your current environment and check the settings in the latest trial environment.

How can I find those web references?

Did you go into the formular editor of the custom copied forms deleted the reference and inserted the new one?

I am not sure if this is applicable to your issue but in one of my projects, the custom forms copied from out-of-the-box forms are throwing script error for some entities such as quote, quotedetail, opportunity, etc.

It was caused by the Field Service upgrade from 7.X to latest 8.X where Microsoft has replaced the JavaScript web resource files with the new libraries. The references in the out-of-the-box forms were automatically replaced but the references in those custom copied forms were broken. We had to remove those broken web resource references and replace with the new libraries and update the function names.

    You are right,

there is a js registrered on OnRecordSelect event. It's the main library of quote written by microsoft. Sadly I cannot find it in the web ressources of the default solution.

I can turn it off and then my problem is solved. Also I can use the original formulars or make a 1:1 copy of the originals and it seems to work fine up untill now. However I wasnt able to find out what caused the error.

My Plan now is to adjust the copies in minimal steps and check if it's still working....

Can you check if there is any JavaScript registered in the OnRecordSelect Event of the editable-Grid?
