
A user is maintaining employee records. At what seems to be random, when she saves her changes, she receives a message that the 'employee record has been changed since you opened this window. Changes won't be saved'
Is anyone familiar with the cause of this condition, and more importantly, how to address it. This is occurring in GP 2016.

I have the same question (0)I have not experienced this, but I do have a thought this. Is it possible that a 3rd party app is running and making a change to the employee record, at the same time the user has the employee record open? I have not tested this, but if the 3rd party app makes a change to the employee record while a user has the card open, I could see GP not allowing the user to save any changes since the record they are now looking at is outdated.
