
Currently, I have a specification that uses ZPL code to print case labels. I added some new fields to the WHSLicensePlateLabel table to use them on the layout, all working correctly by following this blog post.
However, one of the field the client wants is for the product image to be printed in the label. For example, item A0001 has a product image set here:
When printing the label, the image would be converted into ZPL code in order to show in the label. Is this even possible? Having a static image on the ZPL code is really straight-forward, but I have no idea how we can achieve this to change based of the product image. We would have to somehow convert the product image into ZPL code, and then change the document routing layout to include the image in the correct dimensions, position etc...
Has anyone done this or know if it would be possible?
