I've got a set of templates that I use and I would be happy to send them your way. Shoot me an email to Leslievail@earthlink.net and I'll send you what I have. I've got some that work with the built-in import to FA as well as the FA adapter for IM.

When I import Fixed Assets, I do not avail myself of the import utility packaged with GP Fixed Assets, I use Macros (my understanding is the utility is actually a macro automation). I would feel comfortable sharing past macro templates I have used, especially if you have trouble finding assistance with the utility. I use a Class Macro to setup the FA classes, a General Fixed Asset import macro and a Book Class Macro to marry them up.
