Updating (pjemploy.lupd_datetime) field when an update is made using the Payroll Employee Maintenance Screen.

I have tested this on my demo site and found the following:

1. When I Change the employee status to ‘Inactive’ in the Employee and Resource Maintenance Screen SL does update the (pjemploy.lupd_datetime) field.

2. When changing the employee status to ‘Inactive’ in the Payroll Employee Maintenance screen both the employee and pjemploy records are changed but the (pjemploy.lupd_datetime) field does not get updated. Only the (employee.lupd_datetime) field gets updated.

So I conclude that the screen you use will determine if the (pjemploy.lupd_datetime) field is updated. If you use the Payroll screen the program does not update the (pjemploy.lupd_datetime)field.

If the Payroll Employee Maintenance screen updates the PJEMPLOY table, why doesn't it update the (pjemploy.lupd_datetime)?

    Hi Jeff,

I can submit a bug for this.  I don't have an ETA of when it would ever be fixed though.  I'll update this thread with the bug number.
