Email Link sent from Management Reporter to view Financials isn't working

Need help with getting the right setup for the email link to work from Management Reporter. I have sent out email links for managers to view their financial reports monthly from Management Reporter. For me and others who have full access to GP, we are able to open the link but for others, who have limited access cannot. Does the type of access have anything to do with whether the report link works or not. Does the person need to be signed into GP in order for the link to work? Once the manager sent me the error message and I confirmed their credentials met the criteria listed in the error message that reads as follows:
This report can't be displayed:
Make sure that you have access to one of the following items:
* A unit in the reporting tree
* The report in the Management Reporter Library

you have to add the management users to a group that has select permissions on the tables and access to the folder the reports reside in.

we created several groups depending on the users function which reports they can view,...for example one for management, inventory, purchasing, sales, manufacturing and HR

We set up users in Mgmt Rpt. with security to specific reports.  My tester is getting the same error message (listed in original thread) from the email generated link as well as the copied. Again, all of us with full access to GP are not having this issue; we're able to click the link and be directed to the report; it's those with viewer rights that are having the problems.

still sounds like a permission issue

That's exactly what it was. "the permission." I was told to go to the reporting tree and grant security to individuals or to a group.  The problem here was I wasn't using the reporting tree for these reports. The support you gave in relations to library permission worked.  Is there anyway for the user to click on the link and get real time information or will it always be a picture in time?

Was there an answer to the last question about the link updating with the last generated report?
