Workflow email notification not working

Hi:

Workflow email notifications suddenly stop working about 3 weeks ago.  The workflow approvers were not getting emails anymore.  This happens on Business Central version 13.529483 and as well as on the current version 14.0.   Has anyone else having the same issue? 

We've submitted support ticket to Microsoft but the suggested workaround did the not fix the issue.

    We are experiencing the same.  I've been told that in the past it had something to do with the no-reply mailbox being full  That is not the case for us now,

    Hi Cecilio

    Check if Job Queue Log Entries are showing you any error messages?

    If you find any errors check what error it is by double clicking on it!

    Make sure that users have permissions to read on TableData Subcontract Order Header: READ

    Then go into the Job Queue Entry Card and make sure you have the schedule setup, you need  Codeunit 1509 ready to run on schedule, you can choose from 1 minute to several times a day or even once a day depends on what you need.

    This worked and now the Job Queue is working fine. I would keep monitoring.

    We had the same issue.  We had to open that user in the O365 Admin page and put in a Mailbox permission, Send As for the user who is setup as the SMTP email user.  We then restarted the job.

    We have encountered the same issue at our end too after the recent update to version 14.0.29537.29654.

    My Job Queue Entry for running "Notification Entry Dispatcher" codeunit fails and is not sending out emails.

    We've already tried that, same error as you. Good to know i'm not alone with the issue, hopefully we have a fix for this soon. Must be others out there surely

    Hi Paul:

    MS suggested to edit the users' mailbox permissions to have "Send as" user but did not work.   They are still getting the same error message "SendAsDeniedException" errors in the job queue.  We are still waiting for a fix.

    We're having this exact same issue, same version aswell. It stopped working since the last update was applied on the 4th April

    Can i ask what the suggested workaround was? Doubt it will fix the issue for us either if it hasn't for you, but interested to know what they've said to try
