Limit users option to add columns to a view

Hi

In Dynamics it is possible for at user to add columns from the current entity or a related entity to a view.

However, we have a specific field that we do not want the users to be able to add to any views. Is there a way to limit users options to add columns to views?

It won't work to use field-level security, as the users should have access to the field on a form if some confitions are met.

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

    Check this - d365demystified.com/.../

Basically - the "Searchable" parameter, that's called "Available for Advanced Find" behind the scenes.

    Hi. Thanks for your reply.

Setting the searchable parameter to 'no' makes the field disappear in Advanced Find. However, it seems like users can still add the column to a view using the configure columns option.

Do you want users able to read and edit the field in forms but just stopping them add to views?

field security permissions block users read , write , update but  I don't think blocking them to add in views .
