Hello All Experts,

I need to know about roll back of the solution.

I have one solution exported as managed and push to production having version.

CrmSolution 1.0.0.1

now some customizations been done and version number changed as below.

CrmSolution 1.0.0.2

if i import this in production then there is no roll back to previous version .

i.e. from version 1.0.0.2 to 1.0.0.1.

i want the solution to be imported but if require want the earlier solution.

can anyone help me to resolve this scenario.

Hi,

You have two options - you can either install the older version over the top of the newer version - or you can create a patch release from the origninal solution - and then rolling back is basically deleting the patch.

Hello Scott,

We don't have backup of the older version,

if i create patch of newer version and put that in production then what will happen to previously imported lower version.
