RE: ship to address in sales item line in sales order

You can setup different ship to addresses for a customer and then you can use any of it on sales document.
Yes, you can use different ship to addresses for different lines or even for same line.
e.g. You have to ship 10 items for a customer and at two different addresses. To do it create a sales order with item and quantity 10. In the shipping an billing tab change the Ship-to field to Alternate Shipping Address select the first location. On the sales order line chang ethe quantity to ship to 5 and then post. Now reopen the order and change the Ship-to field to the other address and post again. In this way you have two shipments at different addresses for same customer.
