Depreciation Schedule

Posted on by 5

I'm looking to run a depreciation report so that I can easily tie out my fixed asset ledger activity and balances to my general ledger.  I would like to be able to see the acquisition cost, beginning book value, current depreciation and ending book value.  I would like to be able to sort this report based on my fixed asset types which correspond to my GL account codes.  Any other program I've worked in this is a standard out of the box report.  Belo is an example of the column setup that would be helpful.

Has anyone had any luck manipulating any out of the box reports to get a standard depreciation schedule?

The Fixed Asset - Book Value 01 report will give the details you want.  The report can also be customised to meet your needs.

Hi, the following are the Fixed Assets Reports and Analytics in Business Central.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/fa-reports

I haven't found a very perfect report about FA in BC/NAV, so each time it is customized for the customer if needed.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks.
