Approval Workflow

I am attempting to implement this gentleman's approval workflow process:

http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/rdt/2011/11/12/microsoft-dynamics-crm-2011-workflow-based-approval-process-implementation-part-3/#comment-2823859}

I'm confused with how he is tracking the history of changes to the Approval record.  It looks like he's using the Notes associated with the Approval record, but those are not accessible through a workflow.  Is there any way to do that, or is he using a custom related Note entity?

    RE: Approval Workflow

    The process of setting up workflows for notes is definitely possible. For instance, you can make changes to a note after it has been created. I would like to hire thesis writers to complete my work on time. Creating a note from within a workflow does not seem to work in the other direction.

    Hi Debra, Jacqueline,

    If you are interested in ideas about how approval processes can be automated in Dynamics CRM, either via email or SMS based approvals, please contact me.

    I have built a product for sales processes, which implements a similar to the when proposed by Yaniv Arditi, which could probably be applied here as well.

    Hope this helps!

    I'd have to look into the specifics of this workflow but you can definitely set up workflows for notes - as in if a note is created, then go make changes somewhere else. I'm not sure of a way to do this the other direction, as in, create a note from within a workflow.

    Since notes can be a little tricky, I might set this up using tasks since you can easily create tasks from within a workflow.

    I'm definitely going to read all 3 parts of this link since it seems interesting...

    Never mind ... I see that you do it through "Create Record" and then select Note.  It automatically relates it to the entity on which the Workflow is running.  AWESOME SAUCE!!!
