Hi Community,

I was at bin Content and wanted to export in excel all the list of items and their bins in excel. However, upon clicking on the export to excel icon, the Error below comes out.

It says that an Item, A001 of the Item Unit of Measure "Each" does not exist.

I went to the Item list and check and I find that Item A001's Item Unit of Measure was KG instead of Each.

So i tried to change the UOM, and since it has not been transacted, I was able to change from KG to Each.

When I went back to the Bin Content, hoping to export the excel list. This time BC prompt me another Item.

1. So I'm curious how come BC will prompt me this error ?

2. how come BC won't accept the new UOM (KG), but instead wants it to be the old UOM (EACH) ?

Thank you for your help !

Seems the problem was with the Initial entries, when Item cards were created. I assume they were imported. When Items Base unit of Measure is indicated, it should create an entry in table: Item Unit of Measure (table ID 5404). And this part is missing for the "Each" unit of measure.
Now that You indicate the new unit of measure KG, the entry for this item is updated and entry created in the table and no errors arise. Also if item uses several Unit of measures, all of them needs to be in the table 5404 with the related conversion rate based on Base unit of measure.

To fix this, You can either re-enter the Base unit of measure manually for each item, or import a configuration package in the 5404 table for all item base unit of measure.
