Hello All Experts,

I need to export filtered accounts based on some condition.

But my moto of exporting the records is to reimport it again when we restore the database.

But i am in dilemma that how referential records should also be downloaded with one go.

any help will be appreciable.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

It is recommended to use Advanced Find to filter the records you need and then export them.

For example, I filtered out the Accounts whose name begins with A.

Then select all records from the Result list and export them.

    Hello Nya,

    Thanks for your update..

But my moto of exporting the records is to reimport it again when we restore the database.

But i am in dilemma that how referential records should also be downloaded with one go so that when reimporting these records will not cause any issue, like the lookup record does not exists or something like that.

Hope i am able to put my points correctly.

    EmployeeOcta,

Perhaps you can explain more of what sort of filter you're trying to achieve and why you need to export and reimport records.  Also, if you can include which entities you're specifically referring to we might be better able to help. Nya has significant depth of knowledge, especially around Flows and dev aspects. And I'm fairly OK with "solutioning" .

    Hi,

The tool can filter data with FetchXML.

    Hello Experts,

I am on dynamics 365 on prem version 8.2.

    1. I need to filter Account records which belongs to some specific region.

    2. Now these accounts are already having associated contacts with them, also primary contact.

    3. There are connection records between account records and contacts as well as user with some connection role.

    3. These accounts are also associated with different activities like  Appointment , email, phonecall, Task  recurring appointments.

    4. Also accounts are associated with some other custom entities.

Hope i am able to put my question correctly.

Now i don't want all accounts , rather i need filtered accounts.

As of now i am not sure about business value of doing this excersize, but if i could get any business justification i will try to put it here.
