I am using GP 10 and i currently have 5 concurrent login licenses. My problem is that if any user logs in to multiple companies, under user activity, i see his login associated to all 3 companies. I reach the maximum user limit because of this.
I want to restrict a user to login to only one company at a time. If he logs in to another company, then i want GP to log him out from the old one. I think i have seen SQL scripts which do this before, but i was not able to find it once again. Could someone help me out. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Allan Fernandes

Hey Mark,
Thanks for the links, I almost overlooked those VBA script. Will be useful for me too, since I've about 4-5 companies and often users that are login into multiple companies.
Have a great time,
Beat
Developing for Dynamics GP provided code for this for GP versions 8-10. The 10.0 version should also work with GP 2010. You can find them here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/developingfordynamicsgp/archive/2008/08/25/preventing-users-from-logging-into-multiple-companies-example.aspx.
Code and files like this are gathered together at DynamicAccounting.net in the Downloads and SQL Scripts section if you need anything else. This was also covered in the Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Cookbook available from Amazon.com at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1849680426?ie=UTF8&tag=polinofamilywebs&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=1849680426
