For me changing computer time zone to somewhere between -12 and -1, solve the issue, it seems that there is either usage limitation or an issue in SQL settings. Hope this work with you. regards

    Hello,

Sorry to bump an old topic, but I wonder if anyone has found a solution to this problem.  Switching the time zones does not work for me.  Thanks in advance.

    Hi, There,

I would recommend doing a full system backup before trying this,

1-Create a system restore point, name it POS troubleshooting.

2-Change your computer name, then restart your system.

3-Go to Control Panel- Administrative tools-computer management-users and groups-users then delete all users start with R# then go back to Groups and delete all groups start with R#,

    4-Restart your systems.

5-Start your MS POS, before trying to log-in go to change connection, then in Computer name type in you new computer name from step 2.

this should initiate new store wizard, it should automatically detect the created registry on your computer and reassign it to the new store.

If that didn't do it you can easily restore your system to the restore point created in Step 1 "POS troubleshooting."

    awaiting for your feedback.

    regards

I'm getting this issue with a re-install.  I don't see that group on the local computer however.
