I have a user that created a few personal dashboards he shared all but one of these. The next day he has edit permissions for all of the ones he shared but the one he didn't share he can no longer edit it. He still has read access. Has anyone seen this issue before or know a fix for him to be able to restore this? I told the user that the way this is designed even me as an admin am unable to see the dashboard unless its shared with me. Moving forward I believe he will be making sure that it is at least shared with one other person.
Any thoughts?
Hi partner,
1.Check the user’s security role for ‘User Dashboard’ privilege, ensure it has user level for all.
2.The user can try to share the dashborad with another user and then checks if it can be edited or not.
Or you can directly share the dashboard with yourself and check all privileges.
And the sharing can be cancelled by the user after testing.
3.Assign the dashboard to yourself.
