Unable to apply EDITABLE property in page

Hello everyone! I'm trying to set Editable property = false for a page using EventSubscriber but it is not working. So is there any alternatives of this or Am I missing something.

You need to do that in a page trigger instead.

Try doing it in the OnOpenPage trrigger.

Thanks NorthW but requirement is that I cannot modify page and also I don't want to use page extension as well

Well there is no way you can do what you want to do in an event. You have to extend or modify your page object. Preferably the first.
