Conditional Workflow based on users' team

Is it possible to create a background workflow with a condition statement where you check the modifying users' team? The use case I have is:

IF Modified By (User):TEAM equals [Team A]

THEN do something

However, after I select the Modified By (User) in the condition editor the Team isn't available in the next drop down. I need to be able to check if the user is in a certain team.

Hi,

This is because the user can be associated with multiple team hence it is not a field which you can use like Modified By (User):TEAM i.e. User & Team has N:N relationship. If you want to check if the user is member of a team or not, you can use Dynamics 365 Workflow Tools.

Modified by is a user lookup hence you will not get team.

You can write a custom code where you can find a team associated with user.

I use Workflow Tools for that. That is a collection of custom workflow activities provided by Dynamics community.
