How to pull related ID or email address in Activity Advanced Find

I need to perform a data extract of all our activities - emails, phone calls, and tasks. I am using the Activity Advanced Find view, and can identify the email address of the related record if it is a Contact, but not if it is an Opportunity. Obviously, I can't go two levels down of a related record (Activity tracked to Opportunity related to Contact) for an activity record, so how can I identify in Advanced Find how an activity relates to a contact?

    Hi tattmardiff,

Yes, you could create two views to separate them.

    1. Get all activities regarding to the contact.

2.Get all activities regarding to the Opportunity related to Contact.

Hi, Steve - I am looking for both. We are migrating data from Dynamics to another CRM platform, so I need to be able to ingest activities into the new system and relate them to an opportunity or contact, whatever it was tracked to in Dynamics.

Is there a way to separate the two lists? One list that is activities regarding contacts, another list that is activities regarding opportunities relating to contacts?

    Hi tattmardiff,

Do you want to get all activities which is regarding to Contacts or regarding to Opportunities related to Contacts by Advanced Find view?

If so, this is impossible. The fetchxml of the Advanced Find view would do the 'inner join'. So you can't do that.
