Using Ribbon Workbench added a button to all forms has produced a bad side effect, lost ribbon on Mailbox configuration form!

Hello,

Followed the procedure to add a custom button to all entities (for quick access to SharePoint) using the method linked to below. This worked fine but now we have noticed that the entire ribbon has disappeared from mailbox configuration forms!  The button to all entities solution was promoted to production before we realised this side effect.  Has anyone else faced an issue like this please ?

Thanks very much

    Have you tried redeploying? A ticket with Microsoft may need to be raised

    Hi Geeman,

    If modifications using xrmtoolbox or xml file are not working for you, the following steps can be applied to revert all the ribbons to default state.

    1. Export the 1. customizations with the required entities added to one solution. Make sure that you have also added the Application Ribbon component.

    2. Unzip the solution file and open Customizations.xml.

    3. Search for <RibbonDiffXml> </RibbonDiffXml> tag and replace it with the following code:

        <RibbonDiffXml>

            <CustomActions />

            <Templates>

              <RibbonTemplates Id="Mscrm.Templates"></RibbonTemplates>

            </Templates>

            <CommandDefinitions />

            <RuleDefinitions>

              <TabDisplayRules />

              <DisplayRules />

              <EnableRules />

            </RuleDefinitions>

            <LocLabels />

          </RibbonDiffXml>

    The above code will revert to default ribbon buttons after which rest of the changes can be applied.

    Thanks very much for your rapid response.

    This worked and I was able to reset and go back to adding the button to the individual entities.

    Really appreciate the help.
