Activity status field is locked/ Can't enter Task

On the tablet for CRM 2013 - There is a locked field called "activity status" that does not let me change it. Therefore I can't save a new task on the tablet. Is there a way to unblock this activity status and make it so that it's readabl 6303.task_5F00_gray.png e/friendly?

Hi,

Even on PC, you cannot edit the activity status.

By default when creating a new task, the status is Open

Hi all,

Microsoft support has solved this one for me. It appears there is an 'old' form against the Task entity called 'Information' which should not be there.

Go to Settings > Customisation > Customise the System and choose Entities (expand) Tasks (expand) > Forms (select)

1. Tasks (expand) Forms (select)

2. Forms (select)

3. Click the tick mark next to the "Information" form (do not open the form editor).

4. From the button bar above choose "Deactivate

5. Click Publish All Customisations at the top.

You should be able to add a task in the app now!

I have this issue, and tried the above and got the error message "Can't complete operation. You can't deactivate this type of form."

I tried deleting the form too and couldn't either. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue 'You can't delete this type of form'. Is there any idea how to fix this? My problem is, that I can not add activities from Outlook currently, becaue I have to set Activity Status, but the field is locked.
