Unable to delete all sample data from Dynamics CRM with Office 365 (2016)

Hi,

I have just started the trial of Dynamics CRM in Office 365.  When I removed all sample data from Data Management/Sample Data/Remove it did indeed remove a good deal of the records however, not all of them.  There are still 59 contacts, 16 products, 5 Opportunities.  If I select all or some of these records and choose Delete the following error comes up:

"An error has occurred.  The selected action was not completed for one or more records."

If I try a bulk delete the items simply do not get removed.  How on earth do I start from a clean slate?

    We have had the same problem recently with one of our customers. Have support ticket submitted but not response yet. Anyone found a way to remove the data?

    The is method to the madness,

    1) delete products

    2) check that the are no orders or quote against the opportunity then delete it

    3) check for open or closed activities and then delete accounts

    I'm having this problem too, and deleting products as suggested didn't help (got the same unable to process message).

    The onboarding process is clearly very broken somewhere. Very shoddy sales experience. Doubtful we'll upgrade after trial now.

    This is driving me crazy as well... still stuck with sh%$ loads of sample data after "removal"...

    Maybe this is the way to do it. The issue is that SOME of the products, orders etc. are in "READ ONLY STATE" (i.e. as they were market case lost, case won, etc).

    So you need to go and ONE BY ONE, first, "REVISE" them to make them read write. Then, you can delete a record.

    CRAZY. CRAZY. CRAZY.  

    So much for a mature product.

    Hi, I tried that and was able to remove some; however the actual time entries I could not get to delete.

    You are not able to delete Actual records because there is plugin Microsoft.Dynamics.ProjectService.Plugins.PreOperationsmsdyn_actualDelete registered on the event.

    I've tried disabling this plugin and cold delete actuals by using bulk delete.

    Hi

    Tenfold just recently added MS office 365 to their integrations list. Tenfold offers features such as click to dial, automatic call logging, easy note taking and task creation, screen pops on inbound and outbound calls, new lead/contact creation when no matching records, support for cases/opportunities and advanced analytics on the backend. They also support MS Dynamics integration.
