Process a file on SFTP server

I have a requirement to pick up a file from a SFTP server and process it within F&O (i.e., validate and load records). I'm wondering whether a Power Automate or LogicApp job would make the most sense at least to detect and pick up the file from the SFTP server, then the job calls F&O in some fashion to process the file. Does this make more sense than coding to retrieve the file directly?

    for me, I used PowerAutomate with BusinessEvent and it worked fine.

    This is a text book case for a logic app or power automate.
     
    Theres then a few options for then getting the data into D365. Depending on complexity, you could load using dmf, so RestAPI, recurring integration, or load using OData. These methods will give you some built in validations. The other option is write a custom service to handle the import (volume dependant), then handle all the processing and validation in X++.
