Recurrence feature for custom table in dataverse

Hello,

We would like to implement the recurrence pattern feature to our public holiday table in dataverse.

I noticed that this feature is included in the Field Service Agreement booking setup.

Would you please let me know what is the best way/solution to implement the same functionality to our public holiday table?

Example: NYE occurs every year. As with any other holiday, I don't want the user to modify the record manually each time and change the date.

Your advice is highly appreciated.

Best regards,
EBMRay

    Hi  EBMRay,

The best way is to use Power-Automate to Create a recurring flow. Then create it once a year to add data to the holiday table.

Refer link: Run flows on a schedule in Power Automate - Power Automate | Microsoft Docs

    Hello Leco Lv ,

Thank you for providing the above.

What about if you have a record that should repeat every 3 days and the max no. of occurrences is 3?
How would we handle such a scenario using Power Automate?

    Awaiting your response.

    Hi Leco Lv ,

    Thank you for your reply.

It seems that for every scenario I should create a workflow if I want to proceed with Power Automate. Maybe the Azure function might be better for that case?

    Hi   EBMRay,

If you are going to use azure you need to use cron to set the recurrence. this cron expression also requires you to set it manually and you also have to write code to add the data in the table.so I don't recommend using azure.
