    Hi James,

Have you also tried to see what happens with the exchange rate if you change the Transaction Default date? This is curently on 1/1/2021.

    Yes.

From your screen shots, your default date is 1/1/2021.

Maybe you can keep the default data and date of lines same, and then try your scenarios once more.

    Thanks.

    Hi Andre'

I've honestly tried everything! I have changed the dates, and even deleted the EUR-DKK entry from the exchange rate table.. It still somehow finds the value 7.44 DKK to 1 EUR.

    Hi Elsa

See my response to Andre' .. this is really strange. It is finding the rate 7.44 somewhere in the system, and i cannot locate it.

Thanks for the check-in Ludwig .. no, not yet.

See my responses below.. Would the system get these rates from anywhere else?

    hi all

I believe i have found the reason for the 'fixed' rate that i see. There is a denomination currency setup:

    pastedimage1618235809645v1.png

I'm just confused why this is being used on each EUR transaction. So Transaction Currency = EUR, Accounting Currency = DKK, and Reporting Currency = EUR.

Should it not bypass this currency, and only be used when an exchange rate is not found in the Rate Table(s)?

    Hi James,

Isn't the DKK inofficially pegged to the EUR?

Can this the the reason why the setup was made this way?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig

That may be the reason, but i'm still confused why it would even come into play. Should it not take the ex rate from the rate table, and only if it doesn't exist, then look into the denomination currency?

may be you can remove the exchange rate from denomination currency or change the rate try once more in UAT and test the scenarios again? anyway, it's better if the issue already be solved.
