Attributes tab in functional location types in asset management in D365

Hello Experts,

This is reg asset management in D365 FO. The attributes defined in Functional locations types are not defaulting on to the functional locations. Is this the behavior. If yes, please let me know what is the use of defining the attribute type in functional location type. If no, please let me know how does attribute defaults onto functional locations when created.

Hi Pranav,

It should inherit from functional locations type by default.

When i create a new functional location, the attribute is not displayed on functional locations. But after i create a new attribute type on functional locations type, the new attribute type is inherited to the previous functional location.

It should be an error. Please create a ticket on LCS.

Yes as mentioned by Mattguo its a system bug.

Its updating masters retrospectively.

Hi, sorry to restart the conversation but the problem is still existing on the types of functional location, a fix has been found? KB on lcs ?
