Is there anyway to prevent an inventory adjustment from affecting the current cost of an item?
When one of the warehouse guys does an adjustment, it uses the adjustment cost to change the current cost.
We don't want inventory adjustments to affect current cost, only purchase receipts, etc.
Is there anyway to do this?

Item Transaction Entry pulls Current Cost from the Item Card. Are your users changing this cost? If so, you could apply Field Level Security to the Unit Cost field in the transaction window. However, this only helps you if you're using FIFO or LIFO perpetual valuation. If you're using Average Perpetual, the transaction is going to revalue the average cost and there is no way to prevent this.
