Calculate Statement error

Hi,

Having some trouble trying to calculate a statement in AX 2012 Retail.  I get the error message when trying to calculate the statement: "The quantity being returned is greater than what can be covered by the return lot." Anyone have any idea how to clear the error. We are receiving more  and more occurrences of the issue. Seems to be return transactions causing the issue.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

What version of AX are you running?

There is a hotfix available for this mbs2.microsoft.com/.../kbdisplay.aspx

If you google the error message you will see it has been discussed before

    Hi Shravan,

Basically the return transaction was trying to return more than was originally sold against the original receiptID. Although I have been unable to replicate this through the POS. As a workaround you can remove the returninventtransorigin from the inventtrans record associated to the original Sale.

    Regards,

    Steve

    Hi,

I don't know the root cause of this problem as sold & return quantities are same and notice this issue for the returns other than inventory unit.

Workaround is to remove RETURNTRANSACTIONID from RETAILTRANSACTIONSALESTRANS and put back RETURNTRANSACTIONID after sales calculation & posting.

    Regards

    Mahmood
